SURESH SUBRAMANIAN

Suresh Subramanian is an award winning advertising photographer, best known for his work with premier brands and clients in the Middle East and Dubai, UAE. He is also one of the two founders at Clayfingers Pottery, a residency art studio and farm in Thrissur, Kerala.

Having picked up his first camera at a very young age, he has refused to let his work be limited by any restraint. His eyes were on the horizon and beyond, combining the rigor of a relentless photojournalist with the keen eye of a master studio photographer. He developed his aesthetic while being educated as a painter, dedicating himself to a lifelong study of light, drawing inspiration from the works of painting’s old masters. His bold commitment to detail oriented, nuanced lighting imbues his work with a sense of gravitas.

He is a staunch perfectionist and is known for his laser focused work ethic, tightly run sets and commitment to delivering work and making photos that are uncompromising in their quality. He is an artist that values precision, research, and calculated preparedness.
